Becoming Jane Workshop with Mackenzie Sholtz and Dannielle Perry at Timely Tresses in Oxford, NC. January 16-18, 2026
Participants will begin by learning the details of Mackenzie and Dannielle's journey to reproduce and pattern the garments based on the watercolor portrait of Jane Austen attributed to her sister Cassandra.
Depending on how fast you sew, you should have time to complete a muslin fitted to your figure, build the base of the bonnet, and progress well on the garments made of your fashion fabrics.
Participants will receive a pattern for both dress and bonnet, and a bonnet kit (fashion fabric and trimmings not included in kit).
A complete list of necessary materials, notions, and sewing supplies will be sent
upon registration.
